CSA EMEA & the GDPR Center of Excellence
The Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) is the world’s leading organization dedicated to defining and raising awareness of best practices to help ensure a secure cloud computing environment. CSA’s activities, knowledge and extensive network benefit the entire community impacted by cloud and provide a forum through which diverse parties can work together to create and maintain a trusted cloud ecosystem.
The European Headquarter CSA EMEA will establish relations with European Cloud Service provider, Cloud Customer and improve IT- Security and Compliance with European regulations. We will accelerate the Cloud adoption in Europe for public, private, and financial sectors. Awareness and promotion of Cloud Security education and certification based on best practise from subject matter experts around the world will help to better assess the risks and impacts for moving into the Cloud. Further topics to be addressed are IOT and Blockchain.
The CSA Security, Trust & Assurance Registry (STAR), a three-tiered provider assurance program of self-assessment, 3rd-party audit and continuous monitoring supports building trust in Cloud computing and minimizing the risks. Trainings for partner companies will help to educate the staff to better understand the risk and impacts and to let you make substantiated investment decisions in your IT infrastructure.
The GDPR Center of Excellence will coordinate CSAs GDPR activities globally. Its main target is to address compliance with regulations in the European member states and adopt the Certification Framework to their needs.
